eGlide — The future of walking has arrived

For over a century, progress has meant paving. Asphalt, concrete, and steel — all built to keep us moving, yet they’ve kept us chained to the ground beneath our feet.
At eFind Labs, we’re asking a different question: what if we didn’t need roads at all? What if the future of walking was about floating above the world instead of pressing down on it?

Exploring what’s next in motion
We’re currently exploring the possibility of developing what could become the world’s first levitating footwear system— something we call eGlide.
It’s early days. The technology doesn’t exist yet. But that’s never stopped innovation before.
Imagine gliding a few inches above the ground — silently, gracefully, and effortlessly. That’s what we hope eGlide will make possible one day. It’s the kind of big, bold idea that excites us at eFind Labs. Because every world-changing invention starts with the simple belief that we can make it happen.

How we imagine how it could work
Our vision for eGlide combines magnetic levitation, AI-driven stabilization, and a silver control bracelet we call the AeroBand.
The AeroBand would sense wrist movement and body balance, translating that into precise motion. Tilt forward to glide. Rotate to stop. Lift slightly to hover.
It’s movement that feels human — powered by technology but guided by instinct.
We hope to be the first to make wearable levitation real — to create a system that allows people to walk above the world, safely and naturally.

Safety comes first— Our first-generation thinking
We’re still deep in research, and we know safety is everything. Our early design framework keeps the hover height low and stable.
A 5–15 cm (2–6 inch) hover range is our target for early testing — high enough to feel weightless, but low enough to stay safe.
To put it in perspective:
- A fall from 10 cm = about 1.4 m/s (3 mph) — just a small step down.
- 20 cm = 2.0 m/s (4.4 mph) — still within safe limits.
Anything higher starts to feel like a running impact, so the first generation will stay below that.
Our prototype concepts also include:
- Auto-altitude control with safety caps (15 cm default, 20 cm max).
- Emergency touchdown mode if power or sensors fail.
- Contact skids that engage near ground level.
- Speed-linked hover height that adjusts dynamically.
- An AeroBand safety cutoff that gently lowers you if the signal drops.
Every design decision starts with one question: Would we trust our own family to ride it?

Why we’re doing this
At eFind Labs, we believe the best ideas come from curiosity.
Technology should make life lighter, freer, and more inspiring — not heavier.
We want to explore what happens when you take one of humanity’s oldest actions — walking — and reimagine it completely.
The idea of walking on air might sound impossible today. But so did the internet, electric cars, and reusable rockets once.
That’s the spirit we’re building eGlide with: bold, practical optimism.

The road — or air — ahead
We don’t have a prototype yet. Not even close. But we’re testing ideas, running simulations, and studying what it would take to make levitation safe, scalable, and real.
We know it won’t be easy. But we also know that innovation never is.
Because progress doesn’t start with certainty — it starts with a dream, a team, and a determination to see what’s possible.
And maybe, just maybe, one day you’ll look down and realize you’re not walking anymore.
You’re gliding.
