Apparently, ‘final_final_REALfinal.pdf’ was not the breakthrough in personal computing we were promised.
Cloud storage solved an important problem: where do we put all this stuff? It did not fully solve the next one: how do we find the right thing years later, understand what is inside it, compare it with something else, and get back to the original source without remembering which folder we were feeling optimistic about in 2022?
eDrive is being built as a Personal AI Cloud. The current product preview brings files, photos, videos and memories into one place, then lets people ask eDrive to find, compare, summarize and rediscover the information they choose to save.
Folders are useful. Human memory is useful. Neither is especially reliable at 11:47 p.m. when the warranty is due tomorrow.

eDrive is in product preview with early access open. It is being designed to store files, photos, documents, videos and memories, then let people find, compare and summarize the information they choose to keep there.
Answers with the originals attached
If eDrive says it found a warranty, proposal or financial model, the useful next move is opening the actual file. The product direction keeps answers connected to source documents rather than turning your own archive into a mysterious oracle.
Photos should be searchable like memories
The goal is natural-language photo retrieval by people, places, objects, dates, trips and moments. “Show me Mom and Dad at Christmas over the years” is a much more human query than IMG_4821.JPG.
Connect instead of demanding a migration ritual
Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, computers and phones are planned integration targets. They are not promises of current availability or partnerships; the direction is an intelligent layer across the places information already lives.

Inside eFind uses AVAILABLE, BUILDING, RESEARCH and VISION deliberately. If something is described as future direction, that is what it is. If a product is live, we link to it so you can judge it yourself.
